Clean Europe Week
Members of the Clean Europe Network are planning a Clean Europe Week to be held each year to promote more responsible behaviour by citizens and reduce litter. As a precursor to this, the Network coordinated a Clean Europe Day in May 2014 when some of its members involved volunteers in cleaning activities. Clean-up actions highlight the issue and raise awareness but are certainly NOT the solution to the problem.
